Fossil Hunt
A free live quiz game for the classroom
A desert dig with a bluffing game inside it. Pupils dig for fossils, may peek under the rocks, and can check whether a rival has been cheating.
The class board during a game of Fossil Hunt.
How a round plays
- A right answer opens a dig of three rocks. A rock can hold a fossil, a power-up or nothing.
- The brush lets a pupil peek under every rock first, but marks them as a cheat for 45 seconds.
- Pupils can check a rival. Catch a cheat and take a share of their fossils; check an honest player and lose 100.
- A wrong answer costs nothing. The biggest crate of fossils when time runs out wins.
On the board: A canyon wall with a ledge for every pupil, the top three on plinths, and a feed of who caught whom.
