Haunted House
A free live quiz game for the classroom
A trick-or-treat game for the whole class. Every right answer opens a door, and pupils climb the house from the ground floor to the Attic.
A pupil's screen during a game of Haunted House.
How a round plays
- A right answer lights up three doors. The pupil taps one.
- Behind it are sweets, the Giant Jar (three times the sweets) or Pip the ghost. Pip borrows a tenth of the pupil's sweets and gives them all back on their next right answer.
- Every few doors the pupil climbs a floor, and each floor's sweets are worth more, up to the Attic. Near the end, Midnight doubles the sweets behind plain doors.
- A wrong answer costs nothing, and nobody can take sweets from anyone else. The most sweets at the end wins.
On the board: A cross-section of the house with every pupil in their room, Pip beside anyone whose sweets he holds, and the first pupil to reach the Attic.
