Ready to set, nothing to write first

Copy a set to a class, pick a due date, and it marks itself.

Homework

One short set per spec topic.

Topic tests

A test for a block of topics, for the end of teaching or an intervention group.

Mock and practice papers

Built for each paper or unit of each spec, in the board's own mix of question types.

Five-a-day

Five mixed questions for a starter, for each spec and for GCSE and A-level on their own.

Data drills

8 Edexcel sets of graph, table and calculation questions: read a graph, complete a table, work out a mean or a percentage.

The class games use the same banks. Change any question, or build your own set and save it.

Questions built around a performer

Long questions are set around a named performer or scene, as the Edexcel papers are.

See who is stuck, by topic

Class progress and a question-by-question breakdown show who is losing marks on anatomy and who on training and health.

Movement analysis

Name the movement at each joint

A drawn figure moves from position A to position B with the joints ringed. The student picks the movement at each ringed joint and the muscle doing the work. It is marked in code, so it is instant.

  • Joints, movements, agonists and levers, as the specs ask for them
  • Each board's own naming, so the answer is the one its mark scheme wants
Two side views of the same arm bones and muscles: on the left the arm hangs straight, on the right the elbow is bent to a right angle with the forearm pointing forward. A muscle lies on the front of the upper arm bone and another on the back, each joined to the forearm bones by a pale tendon.
The arm moves from position A to position B. Questions ask for the movement at the joint and the muscle doing the work.

Extended answers

Nine- and twenty-mark answers marked against the levels

The marker places each long answer in a level on the board's grid and says what the next level needs.

  • Edexcel nine-mark evaluate, Tech Award six-mark, OCR ten- and twenty-mark, BTEC National six- and eight-mark
  • A flag on every answer sends it to the teacher for review

Look inside

Read a revision hub or see how a set reaches a class. Neither needs an account.

For teachers

See how a set gets to a class

Pick a course, pick a class and a due date. The marking is done by the time they log off.
