A truth table needs one row for every possible input combination. The number of rows is found with the rule 2ⁿ, where n is the number of inputs. How many rows does a truth table need for a circuit with 4 inputs?
Pick an answer: it's marked straight away, just as your pupils would see it.
About this resource
Computing — Logic & Circuits, Lesson 4 of 6. Building a full truth table for a gate or circuit: listing every input combination systematically (2 inputs → 4 rows, 3 inputs → 8 rows using 2^n), then tracing each combination through the circuit to work out the output for every row.
16 slides.
