The scenario
Paws Haven adoption drive
Paws Haven is an animal shelter running a campaign to increase pet adoptions and attract volunteers. It needs a series of social media posts featuring its animals, a printed poster for local vets and shops, and a 60-second video telling one rescue dog's story. The tone should be hopeful, not sad.
The task
A volunteer has drafted a storyboard for the 60-second video that tells the story of Biscuit, a rescue dog, from arriving at Paws Haven to going home with a new family. The camera operator will film from it, but the draft is incomplete and inconsistent.
Improve the effectiveness of the storyboard for use by the camera operator. The frame pictures are already in the draft. Keep the hopeful tone the shelter wants. The finished video must last about 60 seconds. You will get credit for: using the storyboard components and conventions consistently; a clear layout and sequence; and annotations that explain how your improvements help the camera operator in their role.

Questions
Is this the real exam?
No. It is a practice question in the style of OCR's R093 paper: a client scenario, a document for a named user, and an extended answer marked by three levels. SubjectHub wrote it from the specification and the published mark schemes; the real papers are set by OCR.
How is it marked?
Straight away and for free, code checks it: which storyboard techniques you used consistently on every panel the camera operator needs (scene numbers, shot types, angles, movement, timings, lighting, locations, sound and transitions), the running time against the brief, and an estimated level from that count. With a free account you also get the full mark: your notes are read, the brief and the draft's problems are checked, and code places the level by the same rule, so you get a mark, the level, feedback and one next step.
Do I need an account?
No, not to try it: answer it here and get the free check. For the full mark and examiner-style feedback, create a free account. Sign-up opens in a new tab, so your answer stays on this page, and it is kept in this browser if you come back later. Signed-in users get 10 full marks a day.
